Opt OUT shorts liner....

The not so open discussion about creating a product from 4 years of testing and modifying.... one thing was for certain.  We were never going to use a LINER in these shorts.  Let me do my best to provide you with some details. We created the 365 Freedom Shorts out of 3 pairs of shorts I used to wear... most of the time I would wear at least 2pairs of those shorts every day....I had to change my shorts to accommodate my movement.  2 of the 3 pairs of shorts came with a liner... after wearing the shorts for a few times... I cut the liner out for anything but a good reason... its the ONLY reason... they were uncomfortable....

KISS... Keep It Short Stupid

I recently had a conversation with someone who's been in my life since the beginning.  We got into some of the details of the warrior logo and the amazing product we have been producing and continuously tweaking... I enjoy the out of the box view.   I had been rehashing why I wanted to make this particular pair of shorts.  The brief story is that Tennis and Fitness and Triathlon and beach didn't have the same pair of shorts that were "acceptable."  I had been working at a country club for 8 years and never felt comfortable with the board shorts appearance much less the ability to move in them. The concept of K.I.S.S. is always very present.  Keep It...

Ready for Anything

6 years ago I went to a fitness convention and was completely affected by the very last speaker of the event.  His name is Jay Blahnik and his speech encompassed the word Extraordinary. As you entered the amphitheater, you were given a questions sheet with 3 things on it...and a wrist band.  I remember, probably for one of the very few times in my life during a lecture, feeling completely present.  The 4 days of fitness training and education were done and I was in the middle of a major life adjustment.  The 3 questions are buried somewhere in my files, but the wrist band (dead broken and useless) is still around to remind me of that week and what...

The Big Loss.......

My wife just walked in from her weekly Pickleball clinic at Bobby Riggs with legendary coach and champion Chris Miller.  She always brings home some story that ties us more into the pickleball world. A few months ago I was asked to fill in for my friend Peter who plays with a regular group of 12 on the weekends.  I have witness them play and how incredibly organized they are... I think it really contributes to the fun. One of the men there is MARK.  Mark was a couch potato for many years.  A self proclaimed Couch Potato and overall grumpy guy...(maybe that was his wife who shared that.). Mark has been playing Pickleball for a number of years now...

The original innovator of Masculinity....Dreamers

Wow.  Where does inspiration come from?  Everywhere and anywhere, you only need to be paying attention. In 1953 one of the single greatest movements was created.  It was created because someone was bored and wanted more out of life.  He was paying attention to so many others around him and observing that they all sought a change.  The change was anything but slight.  It was risky, monumental, controversial, and above all...necessary.  This innovator created something he wanted.  He worked hard and sought "perfection" for the launch of the mens product that would change lives forever.  Shortly after his launch, he would get the answer he was looking for...YES.  They wanted the same thing he did.  Hugh Hefner launched PLAYBOY magazine...
