Superstar Warriors.....Bear Grylls and Blain

I had this brilliant idea today that would follow up a very important Blog... the one about NO LINERS....essentially it comes down to this experience I had today.  I promised myself I would wear shorts 365 days since living in SanDiego.  Pretty much do... the random day comes by but very rare...so Today was a little cooler and there were no movement activities on the schedule... I opted for some favorite Corduroys shorts.  Warm and heavy shorts and super comfortable...I have actually worn these during unplanned activity and it was a miserable experience... not the point... Without sweating a bunch I have to visit the toilet .... one of the greatest blessings of being a male is the ability to...

Opt OUT shorts liner....

The not so open discussion about creating a product from 4 years of testing and modifying.... one thing was for certain.  We were never going to use a LINER in these shorts.  Let me do my best to provide you with some details. We created the 365 Freedom Shorts out of 3 pairs of shorts I used to wear... most of the time I would wear at least 2pairs of those shorts every day....I had to change my shorts to accommodate my movement.  2 of the 3 pairs of shorts came with a liner... after wearing the shorts for a few times... I cut the liner out for anything but a good reason... its the ONLY reason... they were uncomfortable....

Food Truck Festival.......

I spent a lot of time driving my food truck around this past year.  Only it's not a food truck.  Since 2009 it was a designated mobile toy box filled with enough fitness equipment to satisfy the masses... so disappointing to many foodies when they find zero treats at 60 mph.   I love the concept of a food truck.  They are the epitome of small business ownership.  A mobile restaurant that has, in many cases, perfected a single item.  From Burgers to Burritos, organic health bowls, coffee, sandwiches, and soups.  The movie "CHEF" was about a food truck by Jon Favreau.  What a great story and highly suggest anyone reading this far to see that movie... The Box Van...

Nationals.... not the baseball team!

Nothing like being so focused on the task at hand.   Winning!!  My first day at Nationals in the Palm Desert Indian Wells.... wow.  That was some spectacular stuff.  I sat and watched so many different people playing levels 3.0 to Pro... even though it wasn't a pro event.  The pro's cleaned up.... The task at hand is to find a way to get into the game.  To make it to the Nationals you have to play multiple tournament to qualify.  Winning is getting harder and harder.  I watched a 3.5 match that looked really fun... One of the local guys "Paul and Dennis" won the 60+ 3.5 division... way to go fellas. The real task is to find a...

KISS... Keep It Short Stupid

I recently had a conversation with someone who's been in my life since the beginning.  We got into some of the details of the warrior logo and the amazing product we have been producing and continuously tweaking... I enjoy the out of the box view.   I had been rehashing why I wanted to make this particular pair of shorts.  The brief story is that Tennis and Fitness and Triathlon and beach didn't have the same pair of shorts that were "acceptable."  I had been working at a country club for 8 years and never felt comfortable with the board shorts appearance much less the ability to move in them. The concept of K.I.S.S. is always very present.  Keep It...
